Q: Will my flowers look like the photo shown?

Images on this site are meant as a guide, due to seasons and availability of flower and colour on the day we receive your order, Windsor florist reserves the right to make fair and reasonable substitutions.
But we always endeavor to maintain a similar style and colour combination to the items ordered.If you want specific blooms included please email your request, with reference to your web order.
All flowers are sent out with a water source, to maintain freshness and care instructions attached.

Q: Can I have something different to what I see on your site?

Certainly – we try to have a good selection on this site, but various occasions can call for something “special”, personal and customized.
Please phone 09)2989883 fax, or email with your specific requirements and we will respond with options for you and confirmation details.

Q: Refund policy / Cancellation

We try very hard to supply choice product and quality gifts, delivering as quickly as our courier is able. If for any reason you're not completely satisfied with your gift from Windsor Florist we are happy to replace or refund.
Simply notify us within 24 hours, return the unwanted gift to our store to be exchanged for another gift to the same value (unused and in resalable `condition`) or if fresh flowers and you really can't get into the shop (2 clear photos, one close up, one wide) so we can assess the `condition` of flowers where a decision will be made on a case by case basis. If a wrong address given by the customer has contributed to the `condition`, or due to extremely bad handling of flowers after leaving our shop we won't accept liability.
Windsor florist cannot cancel any order that has already been made up, unless given 3-4 hours notice (remember the different international time zones) to cancel an order. Please notify writing via email or fax.

Q: GST / (Tax)

All prices of flowers and gifts displayed include GST, but freight is extra. Depending on the location the cost will vary – ref to our “delivery” section.

Q: DELIVERIES

Standard prices for local Papakura Deliveries are $10.50 and any other areas are as stated on the drop down menu in the shopping cart, with most of the wider Auckland area being $13.00 aside from Rurals.
Please choose as accurately as you can as the courier will charge extra to redeliver if incorrect address is given, and we will need to pass this cost onto you.
We have a morning collection at 10.30 and afternoon collection at 1.30. So please remember if sending to a business (particularly into Auckland CBD) your order must be received by 9am or we may have to deliver the next day.
Our Rural deliveries are done in the afternoon, although a special time request can sometimes be achieved if enough notice is given.

Q: What happens if no one is home?

As the courier has a full day of work too, they make only one call. If the recipient is not home they will leave gift in a protected and safe location, with a calling card in their letterbox notifying the receiver of this fact. So please give us full and clear delivery instructions so we can deliver your gift as safely as possible.

Q: Policy on Non-deliveries
Every effort is made to deliver any gift, but Windsor florist can't guarantee delivery if

  • Security gates are in place and contact phone details haven't been supplied
  • An incorrect address is given
  • Receiver doesn't want to accept delivery of gift
  • It is unsafe for courier to enter (ferocious dogs) with no previous warning or phone contact our couriers are not obliged to approach any animal they feel not safe – please leave your contact phone number and recipients
  • Recipient isn't at location/or just left ( hospitals or long weekends)

If any of these occur, we may judge the delivery cannot be made. We have the right to change a delivery address if instructed by recipient, Hospital or funeral director or other parties. The cost to "redeliver" after any of these occurring will be charged to the customer.
Q: Do you do out of town deliveries?

Yes -  as we are a member of Interflora we can arrange to send flowers throughout New Zealand using a local NZ florist which maintains freshness and quality for your gift – a guaranteed flower delivery using real florists.
For international flower delivery please give us a call and we can advice, as each country has its own prices and delivery requirements.
This is still one of the safest options for sending overseas!! All members of Interflora worldwide have passed an exam on their level of florist competence and expectation of business ethics - this guarantees your product and safe delivery.
